I don’t know about you, but I am always looking for ways to make my business more kind and sustainable. I am also a huge advocate of paying things forward, so whenever something good happens to me by like to keep it going.
One way I do this is by using eBay for charity. With this program, I can select a percentage of each item that sells to be designated as a donation to a chosen charity. Each month, the total is added together and send as a single donation.
For example, if you look at most of my listings on eBay, I have selected the option to send 10% of what I make to the Alzheimer’s Association. You can also find many other sellers who donate a portion of their sales, and you can also choose to donate when you check out if that fits your preference.
The next time you are searching on eBay for treasures, try clicking on the “Benefits Charity” filter in your advanced search options.
I love that I can find something good for myself and do good for others in the process.
