My Digital Dollhouse

Hi treasure hunters!

I wanted to share a quick post to announce a new project I have been working on.

My digital Dollhouse is my new blog site where I will be sharing the ongoing progress of my dollhouse projects. I will also share the communities and resources that I find most useful.

If doll houses and miniatures are some thing you love, you are welcome to share that love with me. And just a heads up, I’ll be hosting a giveaway for that space soon, so keep an eye open for more information!

Treasure Haul Highlights June 13, 2021

Welcome back treasure hunters!

This week I accomplished one of my personal treasure quests, with an added bonus to pass on to you all!

I have been keeping my peepers peeled for a doll house restoration project to take on, and this weekend I found one! I saw this little yellow house listed in an estate sale and fell in love. She needs some restorations and touching up, and I can’t wait to get started on her!

Not only did I find the house of my dreams, but she was full of tiny house treasures! I got way more than I bargained for with this find, and I’m so excited to help these treasures find their way to their next loving home.

Here are a few of my favorite featured finds from my treasure hunting adventures this past week:

Roper Range Stove

American Girl Samantha’s Purse

Shackman Attic Trunk

Reminiscence Pedestal Table

If you missed out on any of these listings, be sure to follow my Twitter feed where I drop links to listings right after I post them.

Happy hunting!

Trash and treasure in a bottle of debitage

Trash or treasure?

The bottle of debitage I keep on my man

Debitage is the name for the cut remains that are produced during the flintknapping, process (aka lithic reduction).

Many years ago, this bottle contained Thai iced tea. Now it holds the debitage remains of some stones and glass I’ve had the honor of shaping.

Does the journey of these flakes end here on this mantle, or do they have a shinier future in store?

Only time will tell.

Ta for now ❤️
